Up for sale is my 1997 Nissan 240sx with 162k miles.

I have owned the car for 4 years now and have put maybe 5k miles on it and is garage kept.

Interior info -

I have replaced the carpet with new black carpet, sound deadened the interior with hush mat. New shift boot and radio bezel from Nissan. Kenwood cd player with aux/USB in and bluetooth phone connectivity with JL front speakers, and is wired for an amp. The interior is very clean for the age and miles. One small crack in the center of the dash, the factory leather seats are cracking and the drivers bolster is worn through. The rear seat back has been replaced with a fabric because the factory leather one would not realease to fold down and leather was in horrible shape. I have the matching fabric lower rear seat. The lower trunk cover is missing, I have never had one. There is no spare or jack. All electric functions inside work except for the cruise control. A/C blows cold heat works as well. Power windows, locks and sunroof all function as they should. Trunk will not release from inside lever, the latch is bad, it will release with the key. The fuel door opens with the inside release handle.

Exterior -

The front and rear bumpers have just been repaired and repainted. All lights work, has aftermarket HID's, new Nissan factory fogs lights, front signal lenses, and side markers. The left front fender has been replaced and hood has a repair on the left front corner, both before my ownership. The rest of the paint on the car is fair with chipping, scratches and dents, but nothing out of the ordinary for an almost 20 year old car. The paint shines really well after a wash and wax. This is a true 97 Kouki not a converted Zenki. Frame rails are solid with no rust. Pinch welds have some very light surface rust, there is also some surface rust on suspension parts. Absolutely no rust through or major rust. This was a southern car.

Mechanical -

The engine and transmission are original to the car. The car runs strong and shifts well, has a B&M short shifter I have the stock. It does have a few leaks such as oil and power steering, but nothing major a few drops a day. The car is lowered with Eibach springs. Has a generic air intake and cone filter. I have the stock intake parts. The rear struts are brand new, and the rear diff has been upgraded to a VSLD out of a JDM S14. The check engine light is on due to the EGR being removed, does not affect deriveablility, can show a scan of the faults. The car has a test pipe and no-name cat back exahust. This car is an original 5 lug non abs car. Just aligned. Factory SE wheels on ok condition, will need new tires.

Disclosures (aka the bad) -

I recently slid into a curb and hit the left rear. I replaced the entire rear suspension, diff and subframe with an complete unit from a car which included subframe, all arms, hubs, axles, and the VLSD diff. I replaced the struts while the suspension was out. There were 19" wheels on the car before the accident. I could not find a replacement for the damaged wheel I will include the wheels.

I had a turbo kit on the car a few years ago and could never get it to run right so it was removed. During the install there was a small engine bay fire that melted some plastic pieces, vacuum lines, and engine harness wrapping. Some parts were replaced, only the fuel injector wires and clips were damaged, but they were repaired and do not affect the vehicle. I could only find 1 wire in the engine harness that had an issue, and a new one was run to the ECU. The windshield washer hoses and 1 squirter melted, and I have not repaired them since I dont drive enough to use them. With the turbo install the battery tray was removed,. The was an intercooler piping hole drilled where the battery was and I installed a smaller battery. You cannot tell anything is different now unless you know what to look for. The front bumper impact bar was also trimmed to fit the intercooler. The drivers A pillar has a few holes where a pillar guage was installed. The car also has a Walbro 255 fuel pump installed.

Sorry for the long story, just want to be clear what I have for sale.

All in all the car runs great drives great and looks great. Feel free to ask any questions. Clean and clear title in hand. Yes I know I am asking a lot. There are not very many of these left, especially in the midwest.

Included is pic of the car with the 19's. They are Ruff Racing 279's.
