Hello all, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Todd and I run www.flatoutsuspension.com

I make custom coilovers for a few applications. I started building rally suspensions for Subaru and this year migrated into a retail market.

I've sent an email about supporting the site as a vendor but like I said, just wanted to do a quick intro.

We are currently running a promo where if you buy the C57, I am building it to C57i inverted specs for no additional charge. In the S-chassis, just the fronts get inverted.

Welcome to Zilvia, Todd. I'm pleased to see that you're located in California--your intro reminded me a bit like FEAL, Odi and his staff. If you ever need someone with a S13 to test products on, hit me up!

P.S. your IG has zero love for the S-chassis folks haha.

Thanks Zoo. It's not due to a lack of love; I can assure you. My hesitation came from venturing into a flooded market. Granted my stuff is made at the time of order, completely customizable, and 5 year warranty - I bring a different product with exceptional service.

I'm entering each market segment slowly. As an owner of multiple Subarus, and getting my business started there; it was easy launching the product in a retail world.

SC market is wide open.
Get money.
I'm going to start my own coil company and call it Pepperoni Nipples.

Nice looking stuff. Its going to be hard to sell your product. In the world of 240s....most of the people only car about 2 things, cheap and the ability to drop the car super low. This is what you're up against

Most of these fucbois live on minimum wage. They think a set of ebay coils for $600 is too much.

Lol one of those sweg bois thinks megans are too much!

Good luck!

No and I knew this going in, but someone has to offer the high end stuff. I don't count those guys as all 240 owners.

No one would've come if Kevin Kostner didn't build it.

I knew this going in, but there's always someone somewhere willing to invest in a proper setup.

I would seriously be interested in SC/Supra inverted coils.

Aside from inversion and remote reservoirs what makes your coils different from Pepperoni NipplesĀ® Super Damper Extreme™ or any other coil overs? Are all components made in the U.S.?

Flatout Suspension

Obeewon, I can absolutely do the SC/Supra.

As far as what sets Flatout apart...

1) built to order
2) fully customized to each buyer
3) 20 points of adjustment on rebound
4) modular design allows you to go from the C57 all the way to R spec which a few parts (no need to buy a full set ever again)
5) 5 year warranty on the C57 variants
6) 57mm body
7) optional MCU bump stops
8) not a "one size fits all" suspension. We don't just throw an 8/6 spring on everything.

I have NOTHING on the shelves ready to go. When you order, we discuss your needs and build accordingly.

I can't legally say 'made in the USA' as nuts, bolts, hardware, etc are supplied through a vendor.

I try to provide exceptional service, and I think I've done that so far. I genuinely enjoy doing this and it shows.

I'm running Odi's Feal 441s and I love them. Having his shop close enough to drive to is a huge plus.

I'm kind of interested in the pricing on these even though my Feals are less than 6 months old lol. PM (about to be) sent.

I like it. Quality suspensions bits are the titties (titties w/ peperoni nipples to be exact)

Though I am not sure the S-chassis world is for you ( as previously mentioned )..

I recently sold a set of Chinese garbage bullshlt megan coils for 400 bucks and these broke ass kids (mind you these kids are cool as all hell - they have slow, low shitty ass 90's Nissans) were whining about how their mommy didn't give them enough lunch money and their vato zone paycheck wasn't enough to spend 400 big ones..../rant

Do you offer 2 or 3 way setups?

Flatout Suspension
06-16-2015, 03:58 PM
Both, the C57-1 is a 2 way and I can do a C57-2 which would be a dual external

C57-1 is 20 point rebound, +12 compression, C57-2 would be 20 + 12 Low + 12 high speed

I'm not sure if this is something you would consider, but I think some guys would be interested in a drag pack setup. Coils are easy enough to swap, perhaps the drag guys would be interested. Maybe have a group buy in of 5-10sets so it's not completely a waste of time?

What would you recommend for a daily use s13 that has fun curvy roads on the way to work each day and wants to be lower than stock?

Yes I'm too lazy to build a Joni suspension currently

I'd do the C57, maybe like a 6/5 spring rate...maybe even 6/4

Trade in Trade up program available?....lol jk...but seriously (I have fortune auto 500 series ver.4 w/ Swift Springs to be exact). Wouldn't mind trying new setups.

Haha can't take other brands, but you could swap the springs over. With my valving and the swift springs; it's probably be a nice combo.

Just an FYI, as I mentioned, any C57 purchased, I will upgrade the front mcphearson type suspension by inverting the shock, and I'll ship for free if you remember to use the discount code 'shipfree' at checkout.

Normally this would run you about $2200, but til 6/30 it'd be $1550.
