Got pulled because car backfired.

Was driving down a small road in a shoppng center in 2nd gear at twilight and *BANG* a big flame and everythign car backfires, sowhat big deal it happens with turbo cars running 4" turbo back, so a cop sees it and pulls me over and started giving mea big lecture on how somone could mistake it as a gunshot and i could scare peaceful shoppers and they could call the police on me or soemthing, and then he starts just talkin about a chevelle he used to have, and how he used to race, he basically just keeps talking and talking. Im like Yeah, uhuh, cool, sweet, yeah, so he lets me go and before he goes he said "CHECK THIS OUT" and peels out in the cop car in the shopping center with tons of people in the parking lot, on the sidewalk, a mother had to jerk her small child back from the road, and he basically frightens the shit out of alot of pedestrian shopprs

Thats considered entrapment and you can get off with that. like if that guy didnt rev his engine and try to race the other cars then you wouldnt have done anything. same with cops covering their cars with leaves or something and then speedtrapping or whatever. that does really sound like a movie thing though...

actually all thats listed here was legal, other than the original post. cops can cover there leaves if they want, just because there is a speed trap doesn't mean they are forcing you to speed. hence speed TRAP. also entrapment is when they talk you into doing something you didn't originally plan to do. revving his motor isn't entrapment. he didn't talk you into it. he may have provoked something but he didn't say "hey why don't we go out here and race, that'd be cool" entrapment is when say, a undercover cop is like "hey you got any drugs" and you're like "no" and he goes "can yuo find me some" and you're like "nah" and he's like "come on man, do it for me, that'd be chill as shit". not being a dick but until you've taken the Bar exams or gone to the academy don't try to act like cops are just out there to get people using shady ways. yeah the cop sticker on one side of the camaro sucks, but hey, you broke the law, they just enforced it.

in merril wisconsin near us the D.A.R.E. people confiscate cars in drug busts and then take em to a pimp my ride type of place and it becomes a d.a.r.e. car, well merril has a buick grand national, for any one who doesnt know its a 3.8L turbo and they are f%cking nuts. but they painted it like a american flag. my buddy was cruizin in his and all of a sudden he said he heard a turbo spool on a side street and the dare car pulled out into his lane right behind him and started following him, then when the road went to 2 lanes at a intersection it pulled up along side and they started shootin the shit. they had cop uniforms on and and were all asking him what he had dont to his car and what they had done to their dare car and then finally on the last intersection that went into a 4-lane highway. the cops siad you wanna give us a run, he stopped and thought about it, realized he had atleast 150hp or more running almost twice the boost they were on and they drag raced, as soon as he put about 2-3 car lengths on them they hit the lights and then he just kept going, and he said they definately lied or didnt set up any of the parts they had cause he said it was sooo slow, he got away from them easily, and saw them one other time and they just got all pissed cause they chased him up to 100 and broke off they had no speed gun but they got on his case that they wouldnt have gave him a ticket etc. but then they said they ll get him someday.......... there was one other kid in the car with him when it happened and a couple other people in a car that was ahead of them for awhile. its pretty nuts... this happeend like 3-4 years ago
