I wouldnt see why not, Ive also wondered this myself as it is 10mm larger diameter than z32 and is substantially less.

They are not the same. Part numbers via Nissan and Nissan Motorsports are completely different. The main map sensor readings for the ECU are entirely different. If you are getting your MAF upgraded and have the JWT ECU, you can only run the Z32 MAF. The main program is encrypted to read out on those hot wire intervals.

q45 maf is like 10 or 20mm bigger than z32 i believe and can handle more power better.

RB25s use the Z32 as an upgrade. (remember that RBs use 2 mafs? they dont read as much seperately as a Z32)

steeles you mean rb26s right? rb25dets only have a single inlet single turbo. i would be interested to see someone who uses z32 mafs on an rb26dett because they are prettymuch the same thing. i have however seen people over on the skylinesaustralia.com forums talking about using dual q45 mafs for an upgrade...

(just for anyone who was looking for info - like me)

The Q45 MAF maybe bigger but since the Q is a V8 and has 2 MAFS and the air flow readings are limited with the Q sensor because of that. No one likes them (example.. Mckinny motorsports, heavythrottle, phase2motorsport). In fact the Q sensor does not work with late S14 engine, which is what i went though, i was getting a fuel cut at 5500rpm evertime i hit boost, EVEN stock boost! stay away from those Q sensors, bigger isnt ALLWAYS better ;). The Z32 sensor is good for 500hp.

Hey, did you notice the date of this thread and that the point of the thread's having been started was addressed within a day and a half of the start of the thread? It was at this point that the thread was allowed to die, as common forum courtesy will usually dictate. What have you added of value to this?
