Hello,

I regret to inform everyone that there is no feasible
way to proceed with the 2004 Nissan 240sx National
Convention. Let me begin by expressing my apologies to
everyone involved. Many options have been looked at and
the conclusion is still the same. All fault should be
directed to me. Let me thank all the sponsors,
volunteers, and all others that have helped in so many
ways.

Donations, registration fees, and products will be
returned in a timely manner. If you are a registered
participant please provide me with you MAILING address
(by replying to this email). It will help speed up the
refund process.

There are many factors that led to the decision to
cancel the convention. The main factor was not enough
people signing up. If you would like to discuss details
more in depth feel free to contact me.

Doug e-mailed me this afternoon. I have checked out a few forums where he also posted that official e-mail. I still cannot believe it. I have to call and cancel my reservations tomorrow. Poor Doug. He so tried and it seemed to be coming together but alas.... short on $$$.

sadly its the way our community is headed. this was the same type of thing last year that lead to so much of the drama with the 03 convention. everyone SAID they were coming but no one ponied up cash and came. no cash no fun. 240 owners are getting younger and cheaper. sad but true. I aplaud dougs efforts but sadly have to say I told you so at the same time after some of the crap he said about the 03 convention. karma's a bitch

'05 Convention here in Japan. I'll talk to Nissan HQ here and get them to hook us some shit up.
And i'll get them to fly everyone out and room and board them. And get them rental Nissans for the duration of their stay.

Some of us here in NM are registered, got our hotels booked and everything. We were and are still really bummed!
But then we gots to thinkin ... Vegas is Vegas, and we are still gonna go out there as a group for the weekend. Maybe we will see some 240sx peeps from NV and AZ and who knows where else.
