93 Ford Probe GT

my friend just bought a 93 ford probe GT, 2.5L  V6, 5spd, front drive    
165hp       (at the crank)
163ft-lb tq
He was so cocky that he thought he now had a faster car than me, we raced 5 times from a stop  on an unopened road and i beat him every time!   I tried to tell him my big-block 4cyl was no punk,  hehe.  I also found out that after the first run my clutch started to slip noticebly, as i had been suspecting,  man that thing stinks!!

well then your friend cant drive, not to take anything away from your car or your driving skills but, rwd vs. fwd from a dead stop and you should win everytime. Try it from a rolling start, say 2nd or 3rd gear, then come back with the results. My Probe went [email protected] 90.29 with exhaust and intake. I believe the stock time is 15.7, 240 stock time is atleast 15.9-16.1

that is true the probe is faster my friend has a 96 gt and he can beat me not by much tho

yeah, my cousin has a probe. she thought her car was the best thing in the world. about three times around the block, i dusted her. even on the second time around i pulled over to let her back in front. i know she can drive better than i, shes 6 years older than i.

I raced a base-model Probe and won, but I couldn't do crap with the GT. He was next to me in second gear already. Nismo, is that an auto or a manual?

what, my 240 or the probe a straight? the probe was a straight. i use my auto as a straight though. i put it in 1st , then i'll slame it up into 2nd, after i redline it, i'll put into drive. usually it'll go into 3, but sometimes it gone back into 2nd.
