Here's a few pics that I took from the event. I'm sure there's at least one person from this board that was there. There was a pretty good Nissan presence (As always!)

some of the noobs just had no clue...

When we had our event they talked to us regarding drifters.

They might not want Drifting at their track anymore due to fuck ups.

Its going to be like Streets.

Where are the images of linsay and aaron out there rippin it up, isn't this an event that they involve themselves with as sponsors of the event. I would like to see more of you kats on the track. the only time I've caught there cars on asphalt is when they are spectators at another event, (no offense to you.)

Perhaps you need to cover it in your drivers meeting rather than blame the "noobs."

Or screen your participants and keep the "noobs" out of your events.

Well, I've never been to your (Al's) or any other events that Var has been to, so I wouldn't know what you guys cover in the meeting.

Anyway, perhaps you should call these guys running these other events and tell them to shape up their act.

Send letters. Start a petition.

Do something, don't just blame "noobs," blame people who run the events and don't handle their shit.

mmm...

1) lindsey was there that day and,
2) aaron didn't have a car at that point in time

just because there wasn't pictures of them doesn't mean anything. If pictures were proof of drift participation, i'd have only 3 events under my belt.

the way it works is that the driver meeting points out all the shit. The people who have respect for the track and respect for the organizers follow the rules. All the newbs think just cause you're on a racetrack means you should drive over your head and think there are no rules just cause there is no speed limit. This in turn manifests into a sense of false freedom cause there are no cops around to catch them. Obviously they dont look at the organizers as authority figures. Either all this has to be true or they are driving way over their heads and lose track of where they are. Either way it's disrespecful to the organizer because they have to take all the shit and we're gonna see the consequences by yet another track outlawing drifting or higher costs for all of us.

Yes you are right. The people running the events should flag people down and give them warnings...problem is these are private events most of the time so a lot of people are friends or friends of friends. If i was in charge i would have given a couple of people warnings at the last track day i went to at BW..(even though they were friends of mine.)

Your street driving manners show on the track by the way you control your car, the way you drive, even the way you drive in and out of the pit area. I can tell who was going to be trouble from the beginning of the day.

worthless...no matter how many times you tell "noobs" not to go off track and spin their tires coming back on they still do it!..it doesn't matter what you do unless you wanna ban them from the day...causing lots of drama...people demanding refunds...less people to come to future events...etc etc...

it's not like covering something in the drivers meeting means it is going to be followed and respected...please..that's a little idealistic don't you think??..

blah whatever..i stick to what i said...noobs ruin it at events when they get cocky and choose not to listen..yes, they are necessary for the money they provide..but it doesn't mean i have to smile about it...
