I'm considering offering up for trade or sale my 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. This Subaru has been my daily driver and is an excellent car, but everywhere I turn I have people telling me that I can't take 2 cars to Minnesota and my pickup truck is already hauling the trailer of my belongings... The turbocharged boxer engine keeps the center of gravity low, and the few times I have had the opportunity to track the car I have never been disappointed with her performance. The large Brembos stop the nimble Subaru quite quickly, and the turbocharger brings her right back up to pace. I opted for Michelin Pilot Sport II tires on the OEM BBS wheels, and they are no slouch either for all-season tires, although I would recommend a set of winter tires for those with extreme winter climates. I have a set of WRX wheels with Blizzaks mounted, however much to my chagrin, they do not clear the Brembos without spacers.

The car also has some light bolt-on modifications which were installed to increase drive quality without sacrificing reliability or ride. Some modifications were done out of maintenance necessity (Whiteline suspension parts), while others were done just for the joy of driving (touch screen head unit, Cobb Accessport to allow for a low-boost economy tune as I mostly drive highway). I have a complete modification list below, and can answer any questions for a potential buyer. She's in excellent mechanical shape and outside of a couple rock chips and a small dent on the trunk, she's cosmetically a looker as well for having 130k+ miles on a decade old auto.

Good:
Turbocharged EJ257 2.5L Engine
6-Speed Manual Gearbox
Platinum Silver Metallic Paint
Black/Blue Suede STI Seats
One-Touch Power Windows
Power Mirrors
Power Locks w/ Key Fobs (2 sets)
Modifications:
- Cobb Accessport V3
- Perrin Equal length header
- Perrin Up pipe
- Stock turbo, intercooler, & exhaust
- Perrin spoiler stiffeners
- 05+ WRX STi Taillights
- ATI 3-Gauge Pod
- AEM Tru Boost Gauge
- AEM UEGO/AFR gauge.
- AEM Oil Pressure Gauge
- Pioneer AVH4500BT double din touch screen
- OMP 330MM Suede Steering Wheel
- NRG V3 Quick Release
- Carbing shift knob + OEM Leather Knob for Winter.
- Apexi N1 EXV 32-way adjustable coilovers.
- Tsukuba Circuit Track Alignment
- Recently refinished (February 2015) Anthracite Grey 5x100 BBS OEM Wheels
- Hella Super Tone Horns
- Synergy Composites Carbon Fiber Canards
- Factory I/C Sprayer
- LED Swapped Interior
- Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler
- Replaced Head Gaskets + Timing Belt (115k)
- Rotella T6 Every 4k Miles
- Magnus reusable magnetic oil filter.
- Optima yellow top battery.
- StopTech pads and slotted and drilled rotors
- Rally Armor mud flaps (black)
- White Line ball joints and tie rods

Bad:
- Small dent on rear trunklid
- AEM digital boost pressure gauge failed under recall. Working on sending it back as we speak.

I am interested in trades for other cars for cash offers. Please do understand that this is a feeler thread. I have no interest in your $10,000 offer, your 1995 Honda Accord, or your Ken Block hopes and dreams. I would be very interested in trading into a Gen. 2 CTS-V, 2007+ Infiniti products, 2009+ Audi S4, or 2008+ BMW M3. Cash on either end is fine. I also have a love for a well-sorted 240sx valued around $5k or less with cash on your end.

If you're interested, I encourage you to contact me with any questions or concerns. Caveat Emptor. Thank you for taking the time to look at my ad. =]
