im sure its just an old design the charecteristics of those two mine that are similar are , in the actual rod part the step up, and the lined grooving on the rod as if it were machined down from a bigger piece, also the adjustment part is almost identical except a little shorter, and the inserts that mount in the perch for the screw thru the frame are also identical, im willing to be unless someone else comes up with anything better that those are just old spl/nams.

another note, it SHOULD be noted that not a whole lot of companies make them with the boots on them so that narrows the search somewhat. but the better question is why are you asking? you thinking about getting them?
