I am trying to figure out which one of my sensors is my speed sensor, and which is my rpms. I have a 96 se any help would be apreciated. thanks.

the speed sensor is on the tranny. if you go under your car and look at the tranny from the passenger side, you should see this "thing" with wires coming from it. the "thing" should be probed into the tranny like a dildo. thats the speed sensor.

u are talking about the sensors on the tranny right? the speed sensor should be on the small section of the tranny, like you can take the tranny apart from bell housing- main part, then the little part at the end, and it is black, and is like a cylindar about an inch in diameter, IIRC, its been a while since ive looked, and should be held on with one screw.

Thanks, is it the one with two wires coming out of it. if so which one would I splice into for the hud?

You'd be better off hooking up in the dash, since it's already there. Yellow/green wire.

yeah thats a hellofa long way to go to hook up the hud.

I already have an extra wire ran down there and figured it would be easier.
