Hey guys! its been a long time since i last posted here. Alot has changed since then. I pretty much ignored the fourms for a long time. Man has it grown since then...

Anyways I need advice from the old timers here. unfortuantly my times been consumed becoming a aircraft mechanic and i have forgoten alot i used to know about the 240's. I need to forget to make room for the new knowledge. Recently I have come across the opportunity to buy a project car. from what i can tell its a early 90's coupe, 5 speed, black. besides the blown motor and flat tire its prefect. needs a wash and a polsh. I didn't find a single dent in the car not one. it has about 190,000 on it. my friend just offered it to me for 500.00. I can't pass up a deal like that. I so regret getting rid of my old s13 for my s14. so i think i might get this and start my project car. I need a little info on it though. I don't think its an SE. it doesn't have a heads up display. the only thing that i know for sure is that its 4 lug, with manual sun roof. Can anyone id this model for me. what model is it or sound like. what were the specs on that model like, what options came with it. Abs? lsd? bla bla

One other thing... what model came with out the sun roof.

I would appreciate any help you guys gave me. thanks in advanced. and i hope to start posting more soon.

im a noob here myself but ill give my .02

base= no power windows, has hubcaps
se= power windows, alloys opt sunroof
le= leather interior(?), same as se

abs can be seen under the hood, it has a bunch or tiny metal tubes running to it
lsd has a sticker on it(?) or do an lsd test by rotating the wheels.

www.socal240sx.org has all the model brochures, and available options for each year. That should help ID her. :)

Welcome back.

No LSDs on 90s unless they're Canadian :). No ABS either. Glad to see you back!

Yeah its good to be back. I would have a really nice s14 by now if it wasn't for my friend introducing me to Airsoft, now instead of a motor i have 3-4 thousand dollars in airsoft guns sitting on my wall.

Since my friend offered me the car, it spured my intrest. we all know s14 drivers wish they has s13. At least i do, now i have the chance to get one and fix it up the right way. Plus school is almost done and i'll have time to work on my car and a project car.

hello the both of you... hey S13grl, hows the kid doing? did you guys mod the 2.5rs any? as a heads up i just made subura drop 5,000 into my dads 2.5rs. i guess they screwed when they did a clutch job and after 1,000 miles every diff and bearing in the car, along with the tranny was pretty much either blown out or on its way to dying. thank god for that drivetrain warrenty.

I just took a look at the pics of the 2.5rs. looking nice, never knew they came with leather seats. Gotta love that car, it just understeers when pushed. S13grl do you still have your hatch btw?
