Does anyone know how hard it would be to make your own? or possibly have dimensions to making one.

It's only going to be as hard as you make it. Search for pictures on google and go from there.

I don't know how much the metal would cost assuming you have the equipment already, but StreeFaction is awesome a $200 per.

How come no one uses the stock bumper bar??

Its a bit too tall, so it blocks the front vent in aftermarket bumpers.

Bash bars are made better using DOM steel and different thickness....

Finally I suggest using drift armor. One of the first going retail on bash bars and great customer service.
