OK, i was reading the rules and i noticed that any electric fan non stock... is a dsp allowed upgrade..? i have dual altima fans.. so does that change me out of stock class? cuz that would suck.. i also didnt see anything mentioned about the nismo power brace.. i was going to use that and tension rods.... will i still be able to run in stx class?

Nismo Powerbrace will bump you in modded class iirc...

the fans...unfortunately, yes...it's a DSP mod.
the nismo power brace...it replaces chassis suspension pickup points, so (even though it doesn't relocate them) it's beyond the realm of even SM. It puts you in EM/DM/EP depending on other mods.

well thx guys.. and OWETIWHGDSHGLLKJE to the fans moving me classes.. i dont even have them hooked up right so basically im running with no clutch fan and no electric fan unless i turn on the air.. so does that still move me classes? haha.. anyway.. thx for the info on power brace.. what about the tanabe underbrace? is that a legal mod because nothing hooks to it.. or is it just a waste to get one.. i NEED the tension rods.. and the camber plates so those are gonna be ok for stx class.. NO ONE in my region that runs stx is legal .. so yea.. but they have mods that actually help.. the electric fan isnt doing squat for me. thx again

As for the underbrace, same thing as the power brace...

I don't remember who makes it, but I believe there is an underbrace that bolts between the two t/c rod pickup points without actually replacing them. I think MovinUp-1 has one. It's equivalent to a strut tower bar, but it's on the bottom. This should be legal in STS and beyond.

Removing the clutch fan takes you out of Stock and I believe STS, and puts you into DSP. Don't know about STX.
As for the tension rods, I would highly suggest replacing the stock ones with the Nismo rubber or new stock bushings, since they will still be DSP legal. Those rods need to flex from side to side and the urethane doesn't allow this to happen.
