I have a r200 off a gtst skyline, i know i could mount it on my s14 straight foward....BUT my s14 driveshaft wont bolt up...BECAUSE the flange on the skyline diff is 6 bolt and my drivshaft is 4 bolt.
my question is
1- can i swap out the flange on the skyline diff with a flange that fits my driveshaft?
2-what flange can i use? Infiniti?
3-The money question....where can i find this flange?
this is what im talking about

It's called a companion flange. It's splined to the pinion and held on by that nut in the center. A flange from an S-Chassis should work, just make sure you match ABS or non-ABS flange to the diff as they are different.

I don't think that's off a GTS-T. I've only seen those flanges on the R230's, which would be GTR. All you can do is try and swap the flange off your stock diff and see what happens. Nissan pinion bearings are shimmed, no crush sleeve so it shouldn't screw with the pinion bearing pre-load. Have you pulled the cover off and looked at the guts yet? It might not even be a VLSD...

It's a vlsd..4.1 final..the pics are in a thread I made last week here called " r200 skyline diff into s14".

Racepar is onto something. If I'm not mistaken, those sensors on the output shafts are for the AWD system, meaning this diff came from an AWD Skyline or similar. I'm guessing the RB20 and 25 models use the R200 whereas GT-R uses the R230.

When you take the cover off, find the ratio stamped on the ring gear (xx:xx). Might help to identify exactly what it is.

Those sensors are simply wheel speed sensors for the ABS. 300zx's are the same. I'm 99.9999999999% positive that's an R230. I've never seen ANY R200 come with that pinion flange before. All the R200's that I've seen have the standard 4-bolt flange like the 240's.
EDIT: I noticed that the pic of the axle flanges is from the OP's previous thread. I am now 10000000000% positive that's an R230. Those 6-bolt flanges only came on the 230's.
