Alright, I am new to this forum, I hope I am not asking a too naive question, but I am on dial up, the search wasn't working too well for me and here I go.
I own a 93 nissan 240sx 5 spd currently, but I want to keep this stock because its running so good and I don't want to mess with it. i have the chance to get this 91 automatic with HUD coupe for 800.
My question is its an auto and I saw than an auto to manual swap is cake on the 240
My question is that can I do the sr20det changeover into the automatic with no problems and do the mounts line up? from manual to auto?
I am obviously going to get the front clip and if I do, will I need anything else other than regular maintenance like water pump and other gasket?
I hope that i am clear and thanks for your help, this is supposing that the front clip comes with all the clutch pedals and all the necessary parts necessary to convert a auto to manual

Yea nice user name.....

anyways as for your question, everything does line up (engine and tranny mounts) the only thing you would need to actually modify is that you have to drill a hole on the fire wall for the clutch master. You can use the pedals and what not from the JDM front clip but the only thing that i would source from the junk yard is a clutch hardline that runs from your master to the slave. The only thing that i found that was a little tricky was bypassing the ignition because and auto has a sensor that lets you start the car only when its not in gear, there is a write up on srswaps.com which basically says to unplug some connector but it didnt work for me. Good luck man

If you don't have a 5spd driveshaft you will need to get one of those. Also be sure to use the sr tranny mount.
