im sitting on the blvd. a hot place to race and this drango pulls up with 20" cromes on it, euro tails and it is a R/T Drango i didnt even think that he would try anything butt the light turns green and he flys.
so we get to the last light and it is red he gets on the gas with brake on to say lets go
i start to get the rmps up, look down to see where im at about 3 grand and i hear the drango let lose on the tar so i dump the clutch and it dint grab i expected
looked over and he was already  a car length ahead after i get up beside him and say next time i will get you he gave me this funny grin

ahhh yes the Durango R/T and the Dakota R/Ts they are pretty darned fast, just like the new Cadillac Escalades and ofcourse the GMC Typhoon/ Syclone who are beyond fast

my friend raced a Dakota RT when I was with him.  he has a '91 SS 350. (truck).  the only reason we stopped going is because I saw 3 little kids standing up inside of the truck.  the man who was driving, his wife who was in the passenger sit, and 3 little kids jumping up and down inside, so I flipped out on my friend telling him to stop.  we hit probably 70, so we weren't that far into the race, but man I freaked out when I saw those little kids.  the truck was pretty quick though, my friend still had him though!  : )

the van that i drive at work has some good pickup
and my friends 35000 sport  with small mods is qick but the 240 got him all day

what do you expect from the company that makes the viper.
I used to have a dodge and it had alot of good low-end power. It dropped off alot in the high rpms though.
That car lasted for a long time. I had over 180k miles on that dodge before i wrecked it, and it still ran pretty darn good. &nbsp;[before i wrecked it that is <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('> ]

Somwhat off-topic: a few nights ago me and my bf were driving in his 240 and saw this dodge truck (I don't remember which one it is) with lots of lemon-decals on it. We thought it was a commercial truck for some company that works with lemons, but as we got closer we saw that it was a very unsatisfied customer who put lemons and text all over the car to indicate that he had bought a lemon <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. It was hillarious. The driver was a sort of a young guy too. We kept driving next to him to read everything until he turned, but I laughed my ass off. This guy demeaned Dodge-Chrysler in every way possible, it was funny <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>.
