I am having a a hard time deciding if the newer version Tomei elbow is what I want or if I should go with the one piece Circuit Sport? I like that the Tomei unit is one of, if not, the largest elbow available, but I also like the one piece design of the Circuit Sport.

I actually already have a Megan Racing elbow and downpipe on my car but have an exhaust leak so I'll have it down to replace the gasket and also looking for an upgrade.

Forgot to mention that its all mated to a Full Race bottom mount manifold if that plays a roll in fitment

Thanks.

Also, next time try the Small Questions Thread. (http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=297481)

That being said, the Isis Full 3" looks to be a nice piece and good bang for the buck.

To be honest any Elbow and a downpipe that thes same diameter and fitment is good to go. I brought a CS turbine outlet and its been golden for over a decade.

Thanks. I didn't realize ISIS made a newer version.

Side note: does the small questions thread get more traffic?

Seems the better choice is to have a large elbow.

Going from Megan to ISIS is not an upgrade... more so a lateral move. Recommend you keep the Megan, replace the leaky gasket & save the $$ for something with a better bang/buck ratio. If you already have an aftermarket elbow that works, you are probably good to go.

I have the Tomei and love it- But keep in mind my SR's power level warrants the bigger pipe.

Not being 100% sure of how your Full Race manifold may/may not affect the location of your turbine, I will tell you that the Tomei fits nicely around the steering column and clears the Z32 tranny with everything at/near the OEM location- albeit a VERY close fit. I have a schedule steel manifold as well; but again, it retains a very close to stock turbine location.

Missed that in the first post. I agree, keep what you have and spend $140 else where. :2f2f:

Bring this thread back, my Megan elbow cracked on me today. So a new elbow needs to be ordered.

I finally have an excuse to buy a Tomei unit now. I am also considering replacing my downpipe with a unit that has the transmission mount bracket such as this:

its suppose to be like the xs engineering downpipe.

Do you have a flex pipe anywhere on your exhaust?

I don't. I'm planning to raise my car up to keep from scraping and pushing on the exhaust.
