Opinions please : red s14. What color to paint engine bay

Getting my hands on a red s14 to replace my totaled silver mist. Trying to figuer out color combinations for the engine bay. I'm keeping the car red on the exterior. What should I paint my bay while the engine is out. I was thinking nismo grey. Any oopinions or pics of red exteriors with painted bays?

Well if youre set on painting it for one reason or another.

I had an Aztec red S13 painted the engine bay lexus smokey granite pearl and cleared it. Looked great in my opinion and if I'm to do it again I'd do the same thing. I don't have any pics for you at the moment unfortunately. I've seen red-white and it looked awkward imo. Plus I wouldn't want a white engine bay unless the car is white. Black looks decent on a red car. Any other color would be wack

Engine bays should always be body color or black. Off colored engine bays look tacky.

I would paint it either silver or black so that it is not flashy in color.

Maybe a color based off the first original idea your brain will ever produce. Or textured brown. Like, textured shit brown.
