Well, I ordered this exhaust on monday from SS Autochrome on Ebay, and I just got it today.. I must say it is REALLY NICE!
GREAT worksmanship on the whole exhaust the welds, the finish, it looks REALLY nice, everything is top quality, You really cant get a better deal than this, And I find it pointless to spend $250-350 more dollars on any other exhaust. The angle of the muffler is simply AWESOME, Much more angled than the N1 it looks REALLY Aggressive, and the tone is comparable to any other N1, MEAN AS HELL.
This is the exhaust that I bought from ebay.

You can find it by searching for "S14 catback"
And you can usually find them for less than $200 plus the $30 dollar shipping.. Got it in 3 days after I paid too! Fast shipping... I coudnt be happier with my choice.

I have it on my 13 and when combined with an SS autochrome manifold, and the generic SS 02 housing, the exhaust was unbearably loud. I actually had a resonator welded into it and it was still too loud so I sold it. I just bought it back from the guy and with otherwise stock components it sounds awesome, and your right, the quality is great and so was the price.

Beautiful exhaust system for it's price. Will it fit KA24DE?

PSI540SX, that vid in your sig: whats under that car's hood :o
and does an s14 catback fit an s13? for some reason the s13 catback costs more than the s14 :loco:

I'm becoming more and more aware of how expensive this whole "car" thing is. Inexpensive (and high quality) parts like this are drawing my attention more and more away from the whole JDM bling factor of other name brand parts. Hell, this will do the exact same thing any other 3in' exhaust will.

exhausts are chassis specific. S13 will not fit s14, and vice versa.

Any pictures of it on the car?

^yeah, pics would be wonderful (especially one showing ground clearance). how is the ground clearance on that exhaust? Are you lowered at all? if so, how much, and how different from stock is the exhaust ground clearance?

I've seen that exhaust on a S13. It didn't fit very well. But the owner of the car had a shop cut and rotate the pipe. THEN if fuckin fit like a glove! all snug and high up against the chassis.
for the guys who said it was loud, was that on a NA motor? cause the car I heard it on was not very loud

I had 2.5" turbo back on my 300whp FWD SR20det and it wasnt loud at all, no cat, 1 resinator(sp)
It sounded deep like a V8, but no loud.

turbo acts a resonator... its going to sound much different than N/a..

I drove one of those this weekend on an S14 (KA stock mani mated to SR downpipe test pipe and SSA exhaust) sounds REALLY good. gets loud when you get on it but nothing I'd consider obnoxious. with the silencer in sounds like a stock 350Z good stuff

Steeles, did you notice, the ground clearance by chance?
my s14 is pretty low and i'm really not interested in banging up a new exhaust on these crappy mid illinois roads.

Russ's car is pretty slammed, so sow he had to remove the lower lip to get IN the parking lot. as far as I know no real problems. there inevitable but it tucks under theere pretty nicely. and thats on some abusive Atlanta roads.

I'm still confused about you drove my car, I don't remember giving you the keys.
Ground clearance is good for a 3" exhaust, but it's still going to be close if you dump the car. Mine's dumped pretty hard and the bottom edge of the turn right out of the cat had scraped twice, but I drive the car like I appreciate it and avoid serious obstacles.

it went like this Russ;
"dude you leaving your car here or you want me to drive it to Murphs?"
"huuurk I aint leaving it here"
"then run yo keys. whered you park"
"over over there"
"how the hell did you get your car back here?"
"had to take the lip off the car"
"holy crap mang!"
etc etc. then you went back to the stop running screaming. then passed out
