I dont mean with a clip, but just the gauges and usdm parts. I picked one up really cheap and wanted to know if I could use parts off of the 300zx or somthing. If not I'll just stick it in there to take up space.

Because I could not find the information here I will post my findings or should I say RDM I's finding. Easy 6 wire hookup, you'll need a Z32 oil pressure sender and a Z32/S14 boost sensor to make the gauges work. The wireing seems to be pretty straight forward. The only hard part is finding the remaining parts and installing them. I didnt find an actual write up by RDM but this is all I need. So if or when I do my istall I'll make a write up. Here is some of his information " The 3 gauge console pod is easy too, six wires, two for illumination, one to ignition, one to ground, and one for boost and oil signal. The boost signal will come from the boost sensor mounted on the passenger side shock tower, on US cars it's part of the EVAP system, though I haven't fully gotten it figured out since I don't have the sensor yet."

cool glad you got the info. he trimmed the rings around the guages and flipped it so that they tilted to the US drivers side. looks so clean its sick. but then his whole car is that way

Get off my nuts, ass.
The boost sensor needed is one from a Z32, there's actually two sensors in the OE system, it's the 3-prong unit. I gave up one mine because I got a bad sensor from Z1 and a new one is $416. The Greddy boost gauge right smack TDC on the column will do fine.
Yesterday I tried to fit the OE water temp gauge in place of it, no dice there, but an oil temp or front torque gauge from an R32 will drop right in. Only problem is they never offered them whitefaced in Japan so you'd have to get a Nismo cluster. Last one I saw on YahooJP went for 52,000yn. Too pricey for my blood.
Flipping the trim and lens over to aim LHD is more of a challenge, the outer trim panel only fits one way so it needs to be violently grinded down, the lens and inner casing screw holes need to be slotted for proper fit. But it does look hot as fuck.
