I found a SR20DET while rummaging through E-bay this afternoon.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymot....5755547 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=595755547)
The guy I talked to responded back and said it inlcuded:
"ignitor chip, harness ECU, motor
tranny LSD, stock turbo/intercooler."
I was just wondering if y'all thought this was a good deal for $1500.00 (as of now) and what other parts I would need to get. Thanks.

definitely a good deal, most ppl pay at least 2k for an ITR engine to transplant into a civic, but this sr20det is stronger and cheaper, and good for 240's, i'd say go for it

Remember, you get what you pay for.
That's a pretty good deal. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

but it IS on ebay, so people will pay what they think is the right price. sure it's only $1500, for now, but someone will pay at least $2500 for that motor.
It says it has 45K miles, and it's from a company, probably used it for various tests.

i wouldn't buy an engine on ebay (or a car). you do get what you pay for. what if it really has 200000 miles?

It could be me... but that engine looks like it is FWD. What's up with the engine mount in the front. And where's the cooling fan? Obviously the tranny is RWD, but it looks kinda shady to me... just my 2 cents.
