Sr sputters, stalls and lights and cluster flicker. Plz help!

Hey guys plz plz help.
I have a s13 blk top in my s14 and everything was fine until few days ago. The car idles weird, while you driving it sputters, has no power (hp wise) the headlights and clutter start to flicker and soon fade down super dim. You can give it all the gas but it becomes unresponsive. Bought new battery no go. After 20 min drive on new battery still same thing. Tried new z32 n62 maf thinking my other one is bad no go. Car is running a z32 maf, enthLpy tune, 2871, and W255 pump( less than year old) and 740 cck injectors. If anyone has any idea please help. It's my way back and forth to school. Tnx!!

Definitely sounds electrical. Check voltage at the injectors, coilpacks, tps, MAF, CAS, just about every sensor. Also ground continuity to make sure yours aren't loose or anything. Also get the alternator tested to make sure its providing the right voltage, just about any parts store can do that for you.

Put a meter on alternator and it was reading 9v

Definetly the alternator, my sr was doing te same thing when the alternator died. Car ran off the battery until that to died

Mwf, was the car sputtering and had a missing sound to it?

yes it was. sounded like a very bad miss. especially when the battery was close to dead.

I can test the alternator by unplugging the positive while car is running right?

I never heard of that. I always just put a volt meter on it or just run to my local auto parts store and have them test it for free. Or you could put a meter on the battery and if it's around 13.8-14.7 volts then I'd say your good (means the battery's bejng charged my the alternator)

I would start there man. Should read a lot higher, more than likely it's not producing enough volts to power everything and that's why the car is how is. Do it asap bc electronics don't like running with enough power and volts.

Junk yarding now. People say ka ones work withsr pully.
Does any other Nissan direct fit ?

New alternator, new battery diff maf still doing same thing. Sputter sputter n takes complete power away.

i figure i update everyone and specially for people who may get this problem down the road and get led to this page
so basically problem is fixed. how? new mad and new battery
the replacement mad i had bought was bad, guess thats what happens when you buy used, and my new battery was bad, so thats whacha call bad luck lol

Yep, sometimes even replacement parts will be broken, good thing you figured it out.
