Will the wheels look sunken on an s13 coupe?
I want to run at least a cheater 225, so can someone give a decent wheel idea with at least 7.5" width decent offset, and 4-lug?

What's a decent 17x8" (or wider wheel) with at the very most a +30 offset, in 4-lug? Do you know any off the top of your head?

Search dude, and don't search for "konig," "motegi", or "rota."

volk, rays, work and 5zigen are the brands of wheels to look for.. i would recomend spending the little more money getting those wheels because +30 offset fits really good and those brands make all kinds of offset and widths. i got rice rice for cheap but they dont fit and i hate it i HATE +40 offset...

Even cheap crap mustang wheels 17x8 will give you a better offeset if you have the benefit of 5 rugs.

"cheater 225" You lost me?
not to mention, with that much offset a 225 will probably hit the strut.

Cheater 225 = WIDE 225
I.E. Falken Azenis, and the like. Compare to most other companys 235's.

i was kinda thinking thats what you meant. i just ordered another set of azenis for my new wheels.
225/45 F and 245/45 R
Im hoping they will fit without a spacer in the front, but im not 100% sure it will with the 17x8 +39 wheel its goin on

yea my 17x8 +30 regamasters are flush, but it could be more flush, especially in the rear, maby another 5-10 more mm's. you should consider brake clearance when you buy wheels too.
Answer these questions in this order to purchase quality wheels:
1. wheel size for your vehicle (take into account clearances for brakes and coilovers and judge accordingly)
2. Wheel quality/material (brand, and manufacturing process ex. cast, forged, etc.)
3. Wheel weight and brake clearance
4. NOW, and only now consider what they look like and what color u want, not first, last!
I bought my wheels because of their performance benefit, not what they look like. they clear huge brakes, coilovers easily, and best of all weigh only 12.5 lbs! their forged too, "super forged" actually. they are turd brown and look like rotas but i dont care because FUNCTION OVER FORM! hahaha, just a simple suggestion. good luck!

you realize the whole "sunken battleship" thing works better when you dont post pics of cars with STOCK wheels right? at any rate its retarded and played out.
If you were referring to my 17x8 +39s. Being super JDM flush so i can pose in a parking lot with my 205 stretched tires and 5 degrees of camber isnt my goal. I plan on running spacers, but only to keep the tires from hitting shit. With a 5-10mm spacer the wheels should look pretty nice, without having to run excessive camber and skinny tires to fit.

Well, for starters, whether its stock wheels or not, thats basically what its gonna look like. A guy I know here runs 17x7 +43 on his S13 and thats exactly what you get. Except that it looks slightly better from the side.
I run 15x7 +20 all around with 205/60/15 on one set and 205/50/15 on another and it looks fine. I didn't have to roll or pull anything and I only have -2 degrees of camber in the rear (and thats not by choice either; I don't have RUA yet so I cant fix the camber.)
Once I finally receive my RUA, I can set the rear camber back to stock and it'll still clear without a roll or a pull.
So yeah, why not get a lower offset wheel if you can make it fit without retarded camber/rolls etc?
I did it. Many others do as well. If having sunken wheels is a concern for the poster (which it obviously is as thats why he posted in the first place), he should get wider wheels or a lower offset. You just need to ask around and research in order to figure out how low you can go before you need to start being like aaron. ;)
Good luck
it's cooler to have stock steelies and be able to drive your car well than to dress up your car and be a poser fag. Although when it's time to upgrade, dish out a little extra and make it worthwhile.
