Item for sale: 1995 Subaru legacy
Price: mostly interested in trades for parts but 2000 obo
Bought the Subaru some time last year as a daily driver. Car has never left me stranded and runs great. My grand mother has recently passed and my family is giving me her old car (86 Buick lol but garage kept 60k miles blah blah grandma car). So I know longer have use for this car. I don't really "need the money" out of this just trying to free up funds or get parts for my build.
The car....
I'm going to be as honest as I possibly can be. It has 175k and may go up a little. This car won't get you laid. Your friends won't think it's cool and you won't think it's cool. What it will do is get you every where you need to go. I use this car to get back and forth to work. I leave my house at 5 am and for those of you that live around here know how cold it has been and I have not had a single hiccup with the car. It's old, it's covered in salt, and the interior shows its age, but it is a solid good little commuter that gets almost 40mpg. everything in the car works except ac needs a recharge. It's cool, just not ice cold. Has power windows and power locks. I honestly love this car. i just put a new battery inner tie rod alignment abs control block brake master cylinder CAS and one or two small other items. It was kinda a junker when I bought it. Fixed it up a bit. Here's the problem. In the past snow storm the exhaust snapped at the flange for the cat. The cars inspection is up at the end of March and I don't really feel like putting the money out for a new cat or welding this one back together out when I'm going to have another car. It will probably need brake pads as well to pass. So for 300 dollars this thing could 100% perfect. There is a tear in the drivers seat and the paint is faded around pretty much the whole car. It's ugly as f*{%{^]^ck and its auto. Trans shifts a little hard into second but never bothered me because I know this car will last for ever. My last legacy lasted until 283xxx before the head gasket went and I felt I was done with it.
Run down
Cars ugly as hell but reliable.
Needs a cat and brake pads to pass inspection
Yes it's loud as fug
But the thing runs good and is super cheap to insure. Gets awesome gas mileage
Trades:
I'm pretty much open to anything. I have a coupe with an s13 sr but I need a Silvia hood and corner lights. Obviously I would need cash on top or some other parts to make up the price difference
Just hmu
I'm very interested in sbc rpf1 in 17x9.5 17x10 low offset
I'll take turbo and manifold set ups
One piece drive shaft non abs
Spl arms
Wheels preferably 17 with good stock body fitment
Motor swaps (1j or something already have sr)
Seats
Harnesses
Cool suspension stuff.
Don't really have room for shells but if it's a fallen project and huge come up for me I may consider
Idk all kinds of stuff. My car is practically already built but it never hurts to have spares
Any questions offers what ever just shoot me a text or pm me here
Pics: I will clean it all up later this week and post or send people what ever pictures they want
