so right now i'm looking at a setup consisting of the 17x10 +25s front and 17x10 +12s rear. the rear can be done with fender rolling/camber/toe correction...simple. but the front, i was thinking about getting the version select +20mm overfenders for the kouki with about -2 camber front maybe -3 or so rear. will this setup work? i'm aware that imma need as much pull as nitekids has on his s14a (maybe a little less who knows) but can all these things fit with the setup i've listed? also, another concern of mine is the coilover setup. will spl's clear with those 17x10 +25s up front? thats the biggest concern, as i don't know if there will be room for spacers after i put them on. thanks for any help guys.
i'm not a big notebook pad write it down thinker. i hate people who ask for "judging" on their setups. i'm being a hipocrit and usually i don't do this. i'm asking you guys because i want to buy the wheels soon and just get them out of the way. and if the front setup isn't worth it, then its 17x9 +15s and i drop back into the mainstream crowd :\ i was just hoping to find a way to get the 17x10 faces on all 4 corners. thanks again.

10", +25 up front will not clear coilovers.
I run 9", +25...and it's within a few mm. With Tein HEs.

i'm agx/sportlines/project mu camber plates. going spl coilovers, cusco ruca's and some brand of toe link to work on rear alignment with massive camber. i've figured the 17x10+12s will work with 3 mm of spacing from wheel lip to shock collar on spl's so i might just go +12's all around, dunno, we'll see. worst comes to worst, i'll figure i don't wanna spend the extra for the 10" faces all around and just do 17x9 +15s up front.

Just some fitment stuff I've found out:
16x7.5 +45 with a 245/45/R16 victoracer hits on the stock strut-style setup. with coilovers, it took a +0 offset to clear with a 10.5" rim and 315 tires up front. Dunno if those are useful to you at all, but that's what I've tried in the past.
Personally, I don't think the 10's will work well in front without some fender pulling, but I guess it may clear with the car so high off the ground.

if i do go 10s in front i'm buying +20 overfenders and dremmeling the lip off them. that should clear the 10" width part, now all i've gotta do is fit them over the coilovers. i've figured out like i said that the 17x10 +12s will fit the SPL coilovers with 3mm to spare so i might just go +12s all around.
would it look gay with +20 front overfenders and just pulled rear fenders? if anyone has any pics of this style setup please post them.

Johnny5, if you want to test clearance with 17x10's, just order and pair and bring em down to Austin and we can try them on my car to test SPL coilover clearance, mine should be here in 2 weeks. I could possibly meet you half way or something too, we'll see.

eh, i'm a poontah and giving up. if i buy the overfenders and rent/buy the roller i cannot afford the coilovers. so i think its 17x9 +15/17x9 +25 time with ruca's/toe links/spl coilovers. thanks for the fitment offers though! hey anytime you austin guys are getting together let us dallas guys know a day or something in advance, i'd like to come meet with some other 240 owners.
hit me up on aim about it, Johny5 NOTaRoBoT.
