S14 hood, vibrating on highway?

I have a 98 240sx.

Since I've had the car, the hood on the driver side slightly oscillates in an up and down motion when going about 65+ mph. Only the driver side does this, the passenger side is very flat and still.

I've inspected the hood area carefully. everything seems ok. nothing is loose, and the hood is perfectly aligned. the car is basically stock, nothing has been modified except for the lighting and some body parts. Has never been in any kind of accident, I bought it in great condition.

The hood movement doesn't seem like a safety problem, but it still bothers me once in a while.

if anyone knows what it is, or has any ideas, please post. I'm willing to check out anything to get it fixed.

Look in the corner near your headlight on the radiator support. Make sure there is a rubber bushing. If it is too low, you can move it up by unscrewing it from the radiator support.

not really a bump...didn't see this thread unti now, but thanks a lot drift into a curb. I haven't tested it out by driving but I'm sure this was the problem.

how did you figure this out? I remember looking around for rubber grommets but never thought of unscrewing it. It looks like its made to be adjusted.

mine moves when driving on the freeway too. I wouldnt worry about it too much.

my s13 hood has moved ever since i crashed into a wall. although now it moves a tiny bit less because i adjusted it.
