View Full Version : S14 front lower control arm bushings

I recently pressed out the ball joints and bushings for my s14 front lower control arms. I was able to replace the ball joints no problem but I have ordered 2 sets of s14 front lower control arm bushings and both of them are too small.

I have tried the energy suspension and also the whiteline bushings. Does anyone know of any bushings that forsure fit in the control arms?

The hole in the control arms is too big for the bushings.

I have used energy suspension bushings for my front lca and they are nice tight fit in my lca for s14.

+1. i had a set of energy suspension bushings in my last pair of s14 arms and they fit fine.

for me both of the bushings can just slide through the entire hole.

If i can remember correctly there is a sleeve that can be push out and that would cause it
to be loose.

Damn mine don't have any sleeves :picardfp:

I'm guessing im pretty much screwed unless I can get those sleeves, thanks.

i thought whiteline bushings came with a sleeve, i could be wrong
i had no problems with my es bushings.

The whiteline bushings I have do have a metal casing around them but they are still too small.

Ok I think I'm going through the same thing right now as well.

S13 front lower control arm busing part number is w51627

There is a difference between the s13 and s14 bushing. S14 is thicker. I'll check on getting what I think is the correct part number. Apparently I too ordered the s13 bushing for the s14 FLCA.

This is what i think the bushing is for the s14 Front lower control arm inner.S14 whiteline FLCA bushing part number W53467. This is larger than the s13 W51627 and should fit the s14 front lower control arm. I know the W51627 is not going to fit into the s14 FLCA for sure, because I bought the w51627 bushing for my s14 by accident and it didn't fit :down:
