Ths all depends, i would personally do the Z32 calipers if you need them, like if you do auto-crossing, high speed runs, togue, drifitng, etc... Anything aggresive that requires higher braking power than stock calipers. Otherwise, if you don't have a higher horspower engine in there and don't plan on getting into any of these aggressive driving activities, then you honestly don't need them.... unless you want the "bling" factor of having those sweet looking calipers... :coold:

i agree with alex, it depends on what type of driving you do, as well as how much power you have under the hood.

i was thinking about getting Z brakes before i started autoXing, i'm glad i didn't because my stock brakes work just fine. they might be necessary for any actual track use, but not autoX. i have upgraded pads and i've never fadded them and less weight is always a plus.

agreed. if you start running on the track alot and you start to experience fade, then you should look into upgrading. otherwise, get it only if looking at it makes you happy.

i autoX pretty often, and my stock calipers/rotors held up fine with good pads. However after perhaps 5 or 6 back to back runs on a 1:oo course, they would fade considerably. The ONLY time i really notice how bad they were, was when i did wheel to wheel roadcourse racing. On a 1.8 mile road course in the dead heat of the summer slowing from 85mph or so over and over, i started to lose faith in them, so i swapped to 3oozx brakes, but if u dont do road course racing, or drifting (having big front brakes encourages oversteer) then u dont need em

If your gonna do a descent amount of autoxing or drifting or whatever get the z32 brakes...if you want a little more stopping power than you got now throw on a set of Q45 calipers....dual piston and 28mm rotors!!
