CANT remove this auto tranny! Whats the deal?

wtf is going on here? My auto tranny wont remove from the KA block. Has anyone ever experienced this? IF you have any tips, let me know.

the situation:
we cut the brackets on the bottom of the tranny that connects it to the block cuz the bottom bolts were stripped. We wedge the tranny off the block but somthing is still keeping it in there. Any little bit of info would help. thanks.

torque convertor is bolted onto flexplate
transmission input shaft is splined into torque convertor.

yah it takes a bit of force. keep toolin around with it, it'll come off.

I replaced my auto tranny and had the same problem. There was still 1 bolt connecting the bellhousing to the motor. It is on top of the tranny dead center. After we got that bolt out it pulled right off.
