So I just got my tags and I took it out and was driving around and I've noticed that 1. It won't idle cold and 2. (This is my new issue) it won't go down in rpm I'll take it out of gear and the rpm will sky rocket and if it's in gear the car drives it self. I won't even touch the gas and it just keeps driving and accelerating. I've messed with the screw where the throttle cable is and it will ether idle at 2 grand for a couple of seconds and the start to gradually go up or it won't idle at all. I'm in desperate need of help so please help me with issue number 2 and I'm sure I know what I need to do for issue 1

It's a KA 24E and it raises when it's warm it won't idle cold but when it's warmed up that's when issue two happens. It has a brand new tps and what would be the best way to go about cleaning the iac

if it always does it i'd check for vacuum leaks, pcv valves, vacuum lines, could check this...just by listening or get a can of starter fluid and spray it around vacuum lines(even intake tube/cai) if it idles up...there's your problem but if it only does it when cold and then when it warms up i'd say its iacv, ...several guides on several forums google is your friend.
