Hey Guys,
I know this topic was covered a lot on how to do it, but anyone run into problems?
I have the SPL conversion bushings installed into the S14 subframe, but using the instructions, and lining up the scribe marks, it doesn't line up under my car.
Anyone have similar problems install these bushings or have any tips and tricks?
Thanks!

Mine went right in. Same setup: s14 subframe with SPL conversion bushings.

Could it be possible my subframe pins aren't straight? I mean those things are thick and my s13 subframe had PBM risers and those fit... Just killing me... Pounded these things in and out forever to get the right fitment

Dumb question, but orientation is right and everything on the bushings?
I can't imagine you'd have a bent stud that wasn't super obvious.
I like to have someone guide the subframe in on each side of the car and then one person running the jack. It has to go straight up since there's no play. Also WD40 or some other lubricant helps.

Did you install them from the top of the subrame or from underneath? Might make a difference as far as orientation.

Thanks everyone for their help.....
I installed it exactly like what SPL instructions have. Basically install them flush with the top.
I was trying to install the subframe myself, so maybe I need some helping hands to align and push straight up.
Sorry what i meant in my previous post was that I don't think I can bend those pins. I would think very hard and my S13 subframe with pbm bushings fit well.
Will try again and let you guys know

get some help, installing it back in all by yourself is doable (I've done it a hand full of times) but having an extra hand always makes the job much easier to accomplish. otherwise looks like you have everything under control.

i just installed mine acouple of months ago. i came across that the bolts from the frame sometimes are not that straight as we think. i had to removethem and installthem to get a proper fit. but i did all this on a vehicle lift. if you can put them in just enough on the subframe to align to the frame it could give you some help on fitment. just installed another spl conversion kit on another two weeks ago and found that i came across the same problem. but i hope you can get them to fit in precisely

I didn't do the s14 subframe, but have installed solid spacers numerous times.....get the subframe up til it binds.... Get a 2x2 stick of wood and wedge between the subframe and body and beat the studs as you jack the subframe up...... The wood won't fudge it up...

I pretty much had to force mine on with solid bushings, but it did go all the way on eventually after lots of persuading lol.

Thanks guys... Ugh..... So much pain in the ass for this conversion cause the bushings are even off center....

Guys... Figured out why it didn't fit. One side of the toe arm pick up was BENT by 1/2".... Fuck man... Sometimes I hate craigslist.
If anyone has an extra one let me know.
