Question for those who are familiar with shipping methods from Japan

For people who have knowledge of the various methods of shipping parts from Japan, what method is best to ship sideskirts? They exceed the EMS size limit so I dunno. anyone that can help, please post. thanks!

If you're there, I'd bring them back on the plane... You'll pay a surcharge for extra luggage but its better than paying shipping. That, or make friends with someone on base. If someone's shipping them to you, I have no clue... Shipping from there sucks ass. I got quoted $325 to ship one of my two seats back. Taking them on the plane cost me $190 for both.

I got my HLSD (17.2kg) shipped via boat for $60. I opted for this method only because the other option was 2-day which was $200. The box was about a cubic foot in volume.

the problem is, i dunno what size limits usps has. i had a wing shipped to me from a military guy, but that's all i know.

now, anyone know about the sideskirts? i'm asking because it's an odd item to ship and cannot be accepted by ems.

I know the Military guys get their shipping for cheap. To them its as if they are shipping to their own country. Find a friend in the military or get the hook up. Im sure alot of the guys here that deal with ebay alot would agree with me.

yupp...u know the K's wing? the guy who was at the base shipped it out for around $19 i think. CRAZY. It was priority mail too.
