View Full Version : ok metal boxes on each side of rear seat?

wgat are they can i remove them, ok i am striping interior outta my car and i removed the armrest panels on either side of back seat in my s13 hatch and resesed in the side wall there are these metal boxes one on each side so can anyone tell me ehat they are and if i can remove them thanx yes i know i asked this question already but no one could give me a solid answer thanx hope someone can help

O.K. , this is what you stated in the other thread, "if not i will take pic tommorrw thanx". Where are the freaking pics? I gave you some suggestions and you never showed us exactly what you are talking about. Get an FSM and you will find the layouts and diagrams of the car. And before you ask about the FSM, SEARCH!
i know i asked this question already but no one could give me a solid answer thanx hope someone can help
This comment just about pissed me off. Use common sense for cars if you don't get the answer you want.
On the S13 the sides where the rear seat is house the ABS computer on the drivers side, and the HICAS computer on the other. Maybe i'll post up the FSM diagram in a bit.
Do you have a HICAS S13? look for the light on the dash and "Super HICAS" on the black strip left of the door.

tryin to get rid of anything in the car i dont need to loose some weight not that those lil boxes are heavy but everylittle bit counts

off topic- 1101, what OS is that? is it XP wiht a skin?
it's not XP, it's KDE (K Desktop Envronment) Running on Slackware Linux.
