Check that your IACV is in working order. Adjust it so that your car idles between 800-1000 when warm. Is this a factory ecu? If not what EMS?

It's a Jim wolf tune on it

I check it got there stays running now but wants I rev it up twice it dies and now won't start so what would make it not start right away like I said if I wait 5 hrs and come back it will fire back up

I had this problem on a couple swaps. Try pulling the fuel pump fuse after it dies and crank it up. It may be flooding and you need to clear the fuel out.

How did you fix it from flooding I didn't thing fuel injection could flood out

The first time it was a faulty maf that was shorting out. The second time it was a horrible engine harness. I replaced it with a wiring specialties harness and it ran perfect.

First pull your fuel pump fuse after it shuts off and won't start again. Crank it. Then put your fuel pump fuse back in and see if it starts, to confirm if it's flooding.

Need more info.

Do this. Next time it wont start, hold the gas pedal all the way to the floor and crank it over for a while. If it fires up after a while, it means the engine was flooded.

You don't want to be sitting there cranking and cranking an engine that's flooded while your injectors are still firing more fuel. You can damage your motor that way.

pray tell, why are the injectors injecting more fuel?

lrn2diagnose: at high throttle position voltages, the ECU "clears flood" does not inject more fuel.

Ok so I just check it and pulled the fuel pump fuse when it cut off and re install it and it fire right up I have a new harness what could flood my sr out and the fuel pressure is right too and anybody know why it would flood or what to check

Maf, ecu coolant temp sensor, injector o rings.

Start with your maf. People would always tell that a faulty maf would not cause the motor to flood, but on more than one occasion i traced the problem to the maf or the wiring to the maf. While the car is idling tap on the maf or mess with the connector and see if it causes it to die. This is how i found the problem to be the maf on one occasion.

I'm guessing the lower injector o-rings are the culprit.

Check your tune...aem tends to over fuel with its base maps

He is running a JWT. Where did you get AEM?

check the coolant temp sensor and associated wiring

Wow. Yeah. It's completely missing the lower o ring

Hmmm, guess this guy was right... There should most definitely be orings down on the bottom of that injector.

I have the same problem except mine turns right back on & I have a ka24de. I have been looking for the cause of the problem for what seems like forever.
