FD #300 Nissan 350Z V8 Turbo

http://iloapp.rydquist-racing.com/data/_gallery/public/0/140186013187355600_resized.jpg?width=1200&height=760

Original build by Team Dynamics/Hankook factory car (Robbie Nishida drove it first years in FD), updated with V8 Turbo and C&R dogbox, and completely modernized with rear radiator setup, fuelcell update, new wiring harness, bash bars, etc etc etc for FD 2014 by Berk Technology and Road Race Engineering.

Ultra robust build, never missed a session due to mechanical issue in 2014.
Absolutely zero overheating issues thanks to everything being optimized for maximum durability.

Chassis:
Fully stitchwelded Nissan 350Z (Z33)
C-West Type E bodykit
APR GTC250 aero
Seibon dry carbon hood, hatch, doors, fenders
Lexan FD legal window.
Car fully wrapped by Rolotech Car Wraps.
Weight 2930 lbs without driver but including heavy duty crash bars front and rear.
I had a couple of love taps with walls in 2013-2014 but the tub and frame rails are completely straight thanks to the crash bar designs. The quarter panels were professionally repaired by RRE (they used to do bodyshop repairs on rally cars).

Drivetrain: 831hp/860lbft flywheel (695 rwhp with 8 lbs boost)
Fueled Racing LS2 V8 kit, turbo added
Garrett GTX4088R, custom turbo setup by S-Empire, all inconel tubing, fully loaded with strain relievers and equal length fwd facing header setup
Custom milled front mounted, crash protected intercooler
Berk Technology custom exhaust
LS3 heads from Scoggin-Dickey w 0.600 lift springs, good for boost
LS3 intake
Edelbrock 95mm cable throttle body
Comp Cam XR281HR
Made 465 rwhp in total NA mode before we added turbo.
Champion Spark Plugs (Iridium)
Mapped for E85 fuel through huge FiveO Motorsports Injectors on Holley fuel rails, of course you can change the tune to pump gas.
Engine bay is full of one year old Fuelab, Vibrant and Turbosmart goodies, such as FPR, blowoff valves, vacuum distributor blocks etc.
Ultra expensive turbo oil drain scavenge pump (can suck air, oil, foam, won't fail and won't clog up your turbo and blow turbo seals)
Dual Ultra High performance SPAL fans on rear radiator

AEM Series 2 fully standalone engine management
AIM dash CAN-wired, super easy to configure menus and settings

Transmission
C&R Racing Nascar 4-speed dogbox, can't describe with words how amazing this is to drive with.
ACT Advanced Clutch Systems lightweight flywheel and racing clutch
Tilton clutch release bearing with proper slave seal technology (not the kind of cheap hydraulic release bearings from other brands that are know to fail all the time due to cheap O-ring seal designs)

Kaaz and Carbonetic limited slip differentials (for less or more grip) with 3.53 and 4.08 ratios. Both with vented Nismo covers.

Suspension:
KW Competition 2-way adjustable coilovers (factory refreshed by KW in Germany 2013)
Megan Racing tie rods and control arms
Powered by MAX steering angle kit
Solid aluminum bushings rear subframe
All four uprights and wheel bearings replaced before Irwindale 2014, old spares available

Wheels & Brakes:
Hankook Ventus R-S3 tires on Forgestar CF5 18" flowformed wheels
Nissan Track version Brembo brakes with hydraulic e-brake, Stoptech front discs.
3rd caliper hydraulic ebrake setup

Misc Interior and Exterior:
Sparco Corsa racing seats
Schroth seatbelts
Full FD legal fire bottle system with nozzels over fuel tank, engine bay, driver compartment
Spyder projector headlights and LED taillights

Current issues:
- Leakdown test on the LS2 cyl 8 shows lower compression - this is caused by a standard LS2 issue that piston rings start to leak after a while on boosted LS2 engines. It has no bore damage, no metal in the oil pan, the motor runs well and makes great power just blows bypass smoke, but I recommended a refresh w new rings and forged pistons/rods to boost a lot more.
- Minor cracks/scrapes on front and rear bumpers

Performance: I qualified as #1 in FD Pro2 Miami and got a Pro2 podium (the hardest FD track to link). I was 25th in FD PRO points standings with this car by mid season 2014. To improve the car for 2015 you'd have to keep developing the chassis setup to drift well with lower rear tire pressures so that you can launch off the start line faster and give closer tandem chase.

The car has the original VIN sticker on the B-pillar but it is NOT road legal.

Bargain price $35k due to new project in the pipeline :2f2f:
(no transfer tax due to Bill of Sale type sale - again it's not a titled street car).
Willing to discuss reasonable offers from solid buyer, incl potential trades for NON-project cars like a good SUV, 370Z, other solid car, possibly trailer w substantial value.

Serious buyers only please.
Thanks for looking!

PMs responded to.

Trades interesting but has to be less of a "project" car.
