That's incorrect Shawn. Though the S15 does not require a transistor chip because the S15 coil packs each have the circuit built in, the wiring is very similar and only requires the harness connection to the ECU to be repinned according to the pertaining S13 SR ECU Pinout Diagram. (Fun fact: S13 Blacktop 96+ ECU is nearly identical to the S15 ECU). Obviously, the pin for the VTC solenoid will need to be omitted. Otherwise, the remaining differences can be sorted out with by using the commander or the tuner. (Injectors, Maf type, fuel and ignition maps, etc). The CAS is the same among all SRs, as well as the function of the IACV, knock sensor, and TPS. All SR PFCs have the calibration for a Z32 MAF which is a common recommendations to use anyway. However, in Steve's case, its a D-Jetro, implying a MAP sensor, which wouldn't matter because he requires the appropriate MAP sensor anyway.

Short answer: Yes Steve. You may use an S15 D-Jetro on your S13 SR. I have done so myself, but with an S15 L-Jetro. Consider upgrading to S15 coil packs because they offer a slightly more powerful spark anyway.
