F/S or Trade- 1974 Datsun 260Z that is actually registered as a 73 240Z. Let me first get the bad stuff out of the way first about this car. It is definatley not the most comfortable car to drive it has no - A/C, Heater, the interior is gutted, and it is pretty loud inside while driving. The body could use a little work, has some waves in the roof some small dents, and the drivers side fender is kinda torn up, it doesnt look horrible and it could be replaced for not too much. The door locks also have some kinks that could be pretty easily fixed, no turn signals, Now onto the good stuff. Here is some of the stuff that the car has done to it-
-L28 Motor from an 280ZX, I beleive it has an earlier model head (N47 I beleive) and SU carbs on it. Flat-top pistons.
- 5 Speed transmission from 83 ZX with performance shifter, shifts great.
-R200 Differential with 4.11 gears
-Aftermarket Header
-MSD Coil
-Large V8 Aluminum Radiator
-Lowered.. sits very nice.
-Acura Integra seats that look very nice and hold well
-Autometer Phantom Tach mounted in stock tach position.
- Various other autometer gauges
-280 ZX 14" alloys painted flat black with almost new tires
-Center panel is all redone with startup switches etc.
- Newer 2.5 inch exhaust with highflow muffler
- I think there may be a few other mods done to it that I cant remember off the top of my head.
The car runs and drives excelent, motor smokes a bit under hard acceleration (common for older L series motors). Car is currently registered, and most importantly is SMOG EXEMPT. This car is very quick and a blast to drive. Would make an excelent autocross or track car that could still be street driven. Asking $1150 OBO. Would like to sell it pretty quick. I would also be interested in a partial trade (my car +cash) for a good running AE86 GTS or maybe a 240SX. Car is located in Central California (Fresno Area)
Pics- (Before 280ZX wheels were put on.. ill take new pics tommorow.)
