JSimpson

Brand New! S13/S14 brake line relocation, works with S13, S14, AND Z32 BMC.

Kit is bolt on and includes everything you need to tuck your brake lines and replaces all of the ugly metal hardlines. It routes the lines along the crossmember under the engine instead of along the firewall like stock. Vastly cleans up the engine bay and improves brake feel and response.

Made from the highest quality EARL's and BMRS stainless braided PTFE teflon lined hose with stainless fittings.

$170

A-plus lines. Got my lines in about a weeks ago from JSimpson and they are nothing short from perfect. Worth the money all day!!!

As stupid as it is, I think it's good to note these are a stock replacement and not to be used with swaps such as z32/r33 calipers.

I know some people out there would buy this and not ask first.

I dont think you know what youre talking about. these dont go all the way to your calipers.

z32 conversion lines should bolt right up to these lines lol.

Nope, these replace the hard lines, they work with stock, z32, R33, any brakes you want. They do nit go all the way to the calipers, just to the wheel well. You don't want the lines to go all the way to the wheel in case the conversion lines get rubbed through or damaged in a crash, its far cheaper to replace the short fenderwell conversion lines than pulling the line out of the master cylinder and rebleeding the whole system.

I dont think you know what youre talking about. these dont go all the way to your calipers.
Exactly! Thank you sir

Exactly correct, thanks!

Alright then, I had a buddy who had lines like these and they didn't work.

Possibly he had a defect or incorrect line. either way.

Who did he get them from? There are other kits out there that might have issues, but these are 100% bolt on ready to rock. If you have ever done brake lines on a car you would be very familiar with how these work/fit. Your buddy either got a crappy "universal" kit or just doesn't know what he is doing.

JSimpson, I'm doing an ABS retrofit on my S14 soon. I may need custom lengths because I'm putting the ABS Pump behind the passenger seat. Can I hit you up for custom lengths if needed?

i may do this when spring time comes.

cool that you are selling this kit.

would be way cooler though if you posted the size of the fittings and the lengths of the lines so we could make our own.

3. To rear brake block at firewall

Yes there is a clutch line in the picture but it doesn't come with the brake lines. I have one of those also available for $60 which matches the brake lines. Easier to take a picture of all of it.

What is the temp rating on the hose you are using? Both contact and ambient?

JSimpson

450 degrees contact and 1200 degrees ambient. Teflon inside stainless on outside. Earls hose.

They install exactly like chase bays brake lines which route under the engine. They are new and not installed.

These are the fronts. s chassis have 3 brakelines in the bay. LF, RF, and to rear distribution block. That extra line pictured is a matching clutch line (clutch master to slave).

Quick question, could I use these to delete my abs system in s13? So these lines would run straight from the m/c to the remaining hard lines that connect directly to calipers?

Yes exactly. They relocate the brake lines under the engine and also delete ABS. These go to the rear distribution block and to each wheel well as you described.

My thought exactly. Selling it to people without installing it on your own car, and taking pics for proof? Would have helped him make sales long time ago...me included.

You have clearly never contacted him. I got one of the first sets, they are very similar to chasebays but $47 cheaper because of their ridiculous markup.

He's been asking since February for pics installed. If you guys have the sets installed, why not help him out by posting pictures? I actually have the full brake booster delete and in-cabin brake line relocation from chase bays, but I was considering this kit a long while back. I've posted on this thread asking for pics, more than once if I'm not mistaken. I'm not here to bash him, or his products, but no one sells DIY/Self-made kits without pictures showing how they're installed.

QFT. Dude responded to all of my questions in a professional and timely matter. I'm sure this isn't his day job, so cut the dude some slack.

And what is so imperative about seeing installed pictures? They're stainless braided lines that come out of the BMC and go under your engine bay where you'll rarely ever see them. Jesus.

I have my lines routed, but my brakes aren't done yet so I haven't taken pics. I'm like ^this guy, all you can see is what's connected to the master cylinder... Are you guys seriously questioning if it will look better than the hard line mess running across the firewall?

After torture testing this brake line kit this weekend, I'm still very happy with this product. The brake line going to my rears literally runs right beside my 4" downpipe and wastegate. After several pulls, burnouts, and a long drive home, these lines held up with ease. The install went great, and these were perfect length even with my 2J swap. Pics are up!
