I like bump but definately want good sq, I heard the kicker has good SQ, but cant keep up when u bump (bottoms out). the JL is kinda balanced between the two. Any opinions on this? Which one do you guys recommend that I go with? let me know.

i would get the 2 12" kickers that would produce about 144DB's loud!!!! given the right amount power
and that square design takes a smaller air space so less weight in the trunk

Neither, car audio home transport entertainment systems just add more weight and make you go slower. Did I mention it looks incredibly retarded when you are at a stoplight and you have your gay bass thumping?

Stock system 4 life. Although I will just buy a cd player, no 15in subs and 8 other speakers for me, k thx

I want to get only one sub, so which is better of the two?

solo baric, the only way it will bottom out is u have too large of a box for it, that should not happen, i have a 15 inch solo in my car, and to tell u the truth, i've never been this happy with the bass out put of a sub like i am with this one

Good thinkin' whacked, I think hearin' "buzz buzzz buzz" down the street is annoying, 'specially with cheapass installation. Most cars around here have nasty rattling of car parts when they are blasting bass. On the other hand, I do like good sound, and am #### happy with my component system. 10" sub I'll be getting soon should round me out well 'nuff. Money well spent when you drive as much as I do

the 12 should be in about a 1.2 cubic foot box dont quote me on that

ya i think that is fairly close i know the box size is smaller than the avrage sub
plus box and amp in the trunk is not that much weight about 40lbs it good to keep the rear wheels on the pavement

The solo should require less space than 1.2 cubic feet, so i think.... why dont you listen to a JL W7 series... they just came out and it kicks ass!!! but why would you want 144 db??? You would go deaf with in a few years.... Mine reaches about 112 and that is more than loud enough for me.... If you are not looking for competition quality, either one is very good..... Look at the quality of the box, makes a big difference.

well a friend is offering me either the solo baric for $120 or the JL12w3 for $95, so i might go JL, just seems more practical, doesnt require that much power to run

my vote is still the solo baric, i have a 15 which i am only powering with 250 watts and its fabulous
