So I'm in the midst of fixing a power steering leak but I'm not sure what parts I need. Can you help me out? This is in a 1990 240sx hatchback
I've got a leak coming out of this seal, and I'm not sure which seal it is

and this part is unraveling and will probably need to be replaced when I take out the rack and pinion to fix the leak (right?)

Is this thick black piece of rubber the seal that I need to replace? Or is this a sign of something worse? The steering felt like it was turning gear by gear, bit by bit, when driving, instead of being smooth (while the leak was going on, though), would that be due to the leak and out of place seal or something more?

Second pic is tie rod end. I believe you just buy a new replacement.
