Okay well first off I never considered selling this car, but honestly i have realized if im going to build an MR2 i would prefer a later, rarer version (95 hardtop turbo). Next semester i'll need to get an internship and cannot have so many cars anyway. I will return to the MR2 game at a time when i can afford to do one the way i want (K-series turbo or rotrex).
So here she is. Has sat in my parents garage for the last year. Untouched. 175k miles on stock engine (save for cams).

Background info: I purchased the car through my job as an ASE-cert'd master tech at a local shop (was a customer, called asking if boss knew anyone that'd be interested. He knew of me, etc etc..). The car had been outside their house for a number of months and looked rather forlorn and sad. Bone stock. Everything was bone stock. Clutch was done on the car and they couldnt afford the labor and parts to fix it. So i purchased the car (Roxanne) and removed the engine/trans first thing and had paintless dent repair on the entire body and replaced the hood (wrinkled on the corners, maybe had pulled up to high when lifting the hood? i dont know. No evidence it flew up while driving.)
Upon removing the engine, i replaced ALL of the seals/gaskets save the headgasket (there was no evidence that it had been blown) and used OEM parts from lithia throughout the process. I replaced the clutch with an an oem one, initially i expected a few bolts ons and up the boost and that would be that. Ha. Plugs/wires/cap/rotor all that jazz. Timing belt, water pump etc etc. Oil pan resealed w/ toyota FIPG. Throw out bearing, pilot bearing, all timing belt parts. Like i said, all save for the headgasket. HFH/HFHOE, all of it. Ive ONLY used toyota OEM filters with magnetic drain plug and a filtermag. ONLY used synthetic oil from day 1 (of my ownership) I had been using Mobil1 euro spec oil w/ the VW spec. I recently changed it to 15w50 mobil1. The trans has always had either redline or royal purple. Currently i believe it had redline.
I drove the car for a while as it was, adding a B-pipe, downpipe, intercooler/fan and MBC at first (requisite fuel pump was installed when engine/trans was out, tank was drained at the time and wiring was upgraded.) After that it was a CT27, then DIYAutotune asked for test mules for their MSPNP program for the gen2 mr2/celica. My car was dynotuned at their facility as it is within 2 hours of here. Cant remember the numbers, doesnt matter anyway, lol. So after that i arrived at the setup it is at now. It has not been dynotuned. The cams need to be dialed in on a dyno but the car is perfectly drivable as is, because before i purchased my other "toy/dd/project" i had done just that. Dailied this car. Tweaking on the MSPNP all the while. AFRs are kinda dialed in, like i said, dialing in cams/tuning ecu on dyno is really ALL that needs to be done.
Or. You could part out the current setup and have more than enough for a gen4 swap. Or a K swap. Its a decent pile of parts. I will NOT part out the car. I will NOT part with the "extras" unless the car is already sold and the owner opts out of the extras.
I love this car. But I realize as i stated earlier. The MR2 that I desire is a hardtop car, I just didnt know it would be something that made much of a difference to me until i got this far with this car.

ATS phenolic spacer (no tvis due to intake manifold)
MSPNP ecu, really really could benefit from dyno tuning, was spot on before cams/intake manifold swap.

205/40 and 215/40 tires, fronts nearly new, rears are usable but oughta be replaced soon.
Fenders rolled front/rear (rear was a bad job, resulted in dimpling of lip in a few places, tires rub slightly, but its livable, doesnt bother me, i chuckle a little when i hear it, its not a violent rub, more like "kissing")
BODY:
The paint on most of the car is ORIGINAL as far as i can tell.
93+ front lip
Kouki taillights
Genuine Bomex scoops
JDM side trim for the bumper
new t-top seals (ALL OF THEM) also repaired slight slight slight rust underneath the seals by the t-bar.

dash is lifting, have a spare i've fixed that part on
AEM wideband, greddy turbo timer, autometer cobalt boost gauge.
MOMO steering wheel, near-mint condition, dont recall the name.
Weighted moddiction or TWM shift knob, cannot remember the brand, its very heavy!

Mishimoto 3-core radiator. never used.
1 reman 93+ front caliper, still in box, unused.
There may be more im forgetting. I havent driven this car in a year. Today i changed the oil, installed a new battery, and primed the pump and fired it up. No smoke. No noises. Idled for a while and i drove it to the gas station. Car has no insurance and is NOT registered. Have title in hand.
Asking 8500 with all spare parts.
Price is totally negotiable. Also, the trans is stock open diff original transmission. Cruise was deleted. Heat works great, no ac.
