Up for trade is a non sunroof 95 s14 that I recently got in a trade. I originally got the car so I could have something nice to daily since my BMW has become more stance/show oriented but after tearing into the car and fixing some of the major issues I decided to see what kinds of trades are out there before I go any further.
As it sits the car currently has a Kouki Front End Conversion with OEM metal fenders, New OEM USDM kouki bumper, Carbon kouki hood (fitment is actually pretty decent), and aftermarket kouki headlights and side markers. For suspension it has KYB Struts with unknown lowering springs and as far as the drivetrain goes, the car was originally auto but has had a 5 speed swap done at some point. The engine appears to be an S13 KA that was swapped in at some point as well. The head looks to be freshly machined and has ARP headstuds installed. The oil pan has also been tapped for a turbo oil return line. As for the bottom end, I'm not sure since the guy I got it from had no knowledge of the car's history. The chassis itself is completely rust free and has no major dents or dings.
Now for the bad:
-Salvage title, I'm not sure why and the previous owner didn't know either.The drivers door appears to be from another s14 so it is possible that it could have been in an accident and repaired at some point.
-Whoever did the 5-speed swap on this car was a complete idiot and as such the wiring needs to be cleaned up (I can probably do this prior to trade if this is an issue)
- Needs paint since the front is not color matched
- Dash is cracked and while most of it is there, I would say that the interior is in pretty rough shape.
-The front end conversion needs headlight brackets and a bumper retainer to be considered complete
-Tension rod bushings are shot
Now for the biggie, the engine seems to run fine and pulls pretty hard but has a noise around 2500 rpm. It could be a knock or something more minor but it certainly isn't something I have time to look for and deal with right now.
The car would be the perfect starting point for a big build or could be turned into a decent daily with some work. I currently have other projects going on and simply don't have the time to get this up to my standards.
Ideally I would like to trade for a s13 in dailyable condition or for another s14. I would also be interested in other RWD drift type cars or a swapped car that needs some work as well. Please no FWD cars.
