Looking to sell my kouki before my R32 arrives. This car has been my daily driver for the past year, it's right at 160k miles and will go up. Power windows, power mirrors, power locks, sunroof, power steering, cruise control, automatic transmission, keyless entry. Every single item on the car works... A/C, heat, no check engine light. The paint and body is in excellent condition for it's age, some minor dings and scratches, only body damage is a very small crack in the rear bumper. Some cigerette burns in the seats from the previous owner (I'm a non smoker), but otherwise the interior is great, dash is uncracked. Wheels are being sold separately, will come on stock SE wheels.

Only problem with it is it has recently started dripping a little bit of power steering fluid. As of this moment, the car is sitting at the service department of my local Nissan dealership having it looked at.. Will update when it is either diagnosed or repaired.

This car has a few very mild mods, but other than the list below is totally stock:

HID low beams
Push button start
HKS Sport 3" catback exhaust (very quiet with near OEM look)
K&N drop in filter (stock airbox)
Aftermarket CD player
Tinted windows

New NGK plugs and valve cover gasket installed 2k miles ago.

For extra cash I can throw in other parts I have that are not installed, which I'm otherwise planning to sell separately.. Rebuilt and powercoated Z32 front and rear calipers, brand new Z32 drilled and slotted front rotors, front and rear stainless steel Z32 brake lines, and the wheels in the photos with brand new tires.

Located in north Alabama. I have no problem driving it a reasonable distance to meet you. Asking 6000 obo. Possibly open to trades around this value or less plus cash.

Better pictures are coming.. I had an appointment to have the car detailed but had to cancel, so here are the unwashed photos for now.

Tempting! I'd like to get a bit more out of it but I'll think on it.

So far the shop has found a leak on both transmission cooling hoses. Nothing immediately jumps out as being wrong with the power steering lines so that could be where the leak actually is coming from. They put some dye in the fluids before lunch and were going to drive it around for a bit and put it back on the rack to check again when they came back.

dont worry about the PS. every 240sx drips power steering fluid, and I get worried when they don't.
Every couple of days I check my hoses to make sure they are dripping a little PS fluid, just to be safe. Its good luck.

Just about as Perfect base to swap as possible.

Final verdict from the shop is they can only find a minor oil leak and the trans cooler hose leak. I told them not to work about the transmission hoses as I figure I could either do them myself cheaper or whoever buys the car will likely do a manual swap anyway so they'd probably end up in the trash in a few months time regardless. The parts will be here tomorrow for the oil leak and so that should be totally sorted out by the weekend.

Oh, uh oh. thats bad luck. You better get that fixed right away.

Exactly. Nobody should care about leaks on an OEM 240sx since the whole idea is to yank the motor anyways. I mean, that is what we are paying the tax for, it should be called swap tax.

So how far exactly is "a reasonable distance" ??

As long as I can find someone to follow me and take me home on the day in question I can probably drive around two hours in any given direction.

As a random update, I got the car back from the shop yesterday and it's ready to go whenever :)

I took care of my 240 and it did NOT leak power steering fluid

To say a leak is normal is bs it may be common because people do not maintain there cars but deffinately not normal

I assumed he was joking.

Regardless, it wasn't actually power steering but transmission cooling lines. They have brand new OEM clamps on them now.
