Not too big...

I run a similar turbo (57 trim T04E compressor, .60 A/R...and 4-bolt, .63 A/R turbine w/ Stage III wheel - Same exact turbine you list above) and it spools to 12 by 3100-3200 and has the flow capacity for ~400rwhp.

But what is a 55 trim...??? Is this a custom turbo? Standard T04E is 40, 46, 50, 54, 57, 60 trim...?

And I like the 50-trim for 250-350rwhp...best map IMO. What's your goal?

That would depend on your tuning more than anything.

T3/4 is the turbo i am going with also on the KA-T project... that turbo isnt too big......
i agree, i like the 50 trim also for around 300whp........ the t3/4 is a bigger turbo but it spools up fairly quickly....... most people that turbo their KA usually uses T3 ot T3/4.....
Also as much on a stock internal isnt a good goal, why dont you find out how much a stock interal can hold first, you should read up or do some research first

It's not too big. My friend had one on his Honda D16 engine, and it was fine (slightly laggy). But you have an engine with nearly a full liter of displacement over that. Get it!

The guys at Phatka-t.com have a 404 rwhp S13 on stock internals. It's all in the tuning.
