Hello,

I have a diff with a welded spider gear in my 1989 Road race track car now and am looking to put in a S-15 HVLSD I have. I have gone through the archives,
am not found a definitive guide to what I need to do to put one in. I know I need S-15 output shafts. What else? Can I put it in the S-13 pumpkin?
Do I need to change anything else on the car? Where can I get a Great price on S-15 output shafts?

Help !!!

Yes, it will fit in an S13 pumpkin.

Install just like any other LSD. Take your diff out of the car, take the output shafts and open carrier out of the diff, swap your 4.08 ring gear onto the S15 carrier, drop in the S15 carrier, plug in the S15 output shafts, put the diff back in the car.

As for the S15 output shafts... I don't think there is such a thing as a Great price on them, haha. For anyone else that hasn't already bought one, save yourself all the hassle and make sure you buy your S15 HLSD WITH output shafts.
