So basically this year I am replacing everything suspension/steering wise. In the rear I have to run at least -3 camber to fit my wheels with my current setup so I ordered some 50mm overfenders and my front conversion fenders and welded metal and come out to maybe 30mm wider. So originally I was going to replace the ball joints and bushings, get rid of my camber and throw spacers on but a friend mentioned if I was going to do that and was planning to get adjustable tension rods in the front I might as well just do adjustable lower control arms that way they include the tension rods and I'll be able to widen my stance without spacers and achieve more angle.
Now my questions..
How adjustable are they? Would I be able to achieve a 30mm and 50mm wider stance just by widening them or am I still going to need some size of spacer after?
Also ordering aftermarket inner/outer tie rods can I just buy replacement s13 ones or do I need to use something longer because I will be adding a wider stance with the lower control arms?

I have the pbm fronts. They should easily be able to give you a 50mm wider stance. Mine are at 25mm right now and I have a ton of thread still in the arm. And as for tie rods you can did a bunch of companies making extended inners. I run pbm's for that too because they have 7mm tie rod spacers built in and I think they're an inch longer than stock. And I run spl heim joint outters because they are extended already and can be adjusted at the heim and at the tie rod. But Abercrombie Motorsports makes 1 and 2 inch longer outters. Just do some research on prices and make your decision. I would highly recommend the pbm parts though

Yeah I was super interested in the pbms but our exchange rate from usd to cad is shit right now and with shipping and everything they were almost $900 for just the fronts so unfortunately they're kinda out of the question. Thanks for the info definitely gave me something to think on and make a decision.

If your good with a grinder and have time to spare, theirs a thread over on NRR that talks about rebuilding cheap ebay arms with quality parts.
Personally, I DD my car with adjustable aftermarket front arms with S14 inners and outers. They make a lot of noise and need to be lubed often (lost the dust covers). It is nice that the alignment can be dialed in perfect and the car is incredibly responsive to steering input. If I were to do it again, I would go S14 flca or extended s13 FLCAs with OEM bushings and s14 inner with aftermarket outers for ride quality.

Lower control arms will only give you width at the bottom. Your fender clearance won't change at all. Not unless you take out camber from the top hat. To fill the fender out you will need lower offset or wider wheels.
