I was just wondering if anyone else was runnning this SMIC. I had a few questions.
1. How much boost are you running?
2. Is it safe for an upgraded turbo?
3. How far can i push it (hp)?
Thanks in advance.

My clip came with an ARC smic. I ran it for a while up to 14psi at times but mostly 12psi with no problems. This intercooler is much bigger than the stock one but the piping will still be restricting.

The biggest restriction on the ARC sidemount is in fact the piping. Guys in Japan push 1bar on them all day without any problems.

They're quite efficient ICs...

i don't have an arc smic but i have an s15 smic which is about 33% thicker. With the stock s14 smic i was running .5 bar or 7.35 lbs. after installing the s15 smic (bolted right on, straight replacement) i am boosting .8 bar or 11+ lbs boost (no boost controller) and it runs fine. just don't push it on a hot day.
