"FD legal" means that the coilover mounts at the stock mounting points so they made these tophats that go onto your coilover and extend and mount to the three holes on your strut tower whereas this one does not have those. you have cut an extra hole to mount your coilover correctly.

I know thats a terrible explanation on it but maybe someone else can put it into words better.

Can you post pics ? 1800 is a lot for something not bolt on , or fd legal

It is bolt on... The first kit they made was not FD legal as it relocated the top coilover pillowball outside of the diameter of the three factory mounting bolts for the top of the strut. As per FD rules it can be relocated, but it must stay within the diameter of those three bolts. So they revised the kit. I doubt that he modified one of the legal kits.

no modications was done to this kit. and you can get more pictures if you text that number up there. i dont have any on my phone or on my computer. but if you look up "wisefa s13" its all going to be the same. and forgot to add, if im not mistaken, this kit does have the ackermann kit which is $200 extra.

as long as the center strut bolt (typically in the dead center of the 3 shock tower bolts) is with in an imaginary circle that those 3 bolt holes make. its FD legal.

Yeah we know, and this kit puts it outside of that imaginary circle, whearas the legal kit does not... GLWS.
