Airbag Light ( not reseting )

I know this topic has been beat to death and I've looked up and read what can help but I'm stuck and need help!

I did the diagnostic 7 door ajar button pushes within 5 seconds, which led to 2 flashes which meant "circuit error driver side"

Airbag fuse was good, airbag is good and never been deployed. So I purchased a clock spring and installed and did the airbag reset and I got the same 2 constant flashes afterwards.

Before I purchase another clock spring(maybe this is one is faulty) I want to make sure I'm not missing something I can possibly also replace. I don't need the airbag/stock steering wheel, only reason I need my airbag to work is to register my car - dmv will not vin check my car unless the airbag works.

Put a 2amp fuse and a 3 ohm resister in series and connect that to the airbag harness. Then try to reset. If it still flashes you know the airbag is good and you can test the clock spring.
To test that get a multimeter and put it on continuity. Measure across and see if you have an open circuit from one side to another. If you do then the clock spring is bad. If not it may be the harness or the module. But start at one end and work your way backwards. Don't buy anything if you can test it first.

Nerve racking to install it, I slipped the bag on and connected while crouching outside of my drive seat.

Thread update since I forgot.

Ended up being another faulty clock spring. I went through 3 before I got to the fourth one that finally ended up working after I did the reset.
