This is kinda frustrating, cause I keep throwing money at it, but my car is still sloppy to drive..
I had just replaced both ball joints, and both inner/outter tie rods as they were at the end of their life.. After I fixed that I figured my handling would be much better.. But I'm still having issues. At higher speeds mostly, the car feels very unstable, like somethings about to give.. It's hard to explain, but mostly when changing lanes, it pulls side to side almost like the left and right sides are fighting against each other. Kinda scary feeling.
I also notice if I try to make sharp turns at a good speed (like making a sharp turn into a gas station going like 15mph) that the wheel encounters a bit of resistance as i turn. just before i get to the end of the turn, its as if theres something in the way of turning it, but a little more pressure and it gets by it fine... It's just there is that occasional resistance, like the steering wheel is getting jammed for a sec.
I've had it into several garages and nobody can find anything else wrong after i replaced the ball joints and tie rods.. I can't afford to replace much more stuff here, so I'm hopin someone might have some ideas for me!!
Thanks in advance!
